Print Design
​
I started my design experience with printed materials over 20 years ago. Consisting of catalogs, sell sheets, magazine advertisements and marketing collateral, printed design has been a staple throughout my career.
Package Design
I have had the pleasure to work for numerous B2C companies not only doing graphic design and marketing but also packaging design. One of the most rewarding aspects of my career is seeing my design work on the shelf in national retailer stores.
Marketing
In addition to being involved in marketing the products I have designed packaging for, I have worked for a marketing company called Bthere Media. I was responsible for not only the creative elements and concepts, I also managed campaigns and delivered proof of performance in real time across numerous social media platforms.
Photography
I discovered my love of photography as a young child and realized a good eye came in very useful while attending university creating content for my class projects. I have been fortunate to be employed by several companies as a photographer in addition to being a designer.

Howdy (or G'day). My name is Christian Tait and I am an "Aussinite", an Aussie that lived in Austin, TX for 30 years. I was raised a surfer on the beaches of Western Australia until I moved to the U.S. at age twelve. After high school, I spent four years in the Army as an Air Traffic Controller which eventually brought me to Texas. I fell in love with Austin and completed my Bachelors in Communication Design at Texas State University.
I took up photography while in school and have spent the last twenty two years as a photographer and graphic designer, contributing to numerous magazines, websites, and international companies. My freelance company, Xian Studios, offers military-inspired professionalism to clients in comprehensive social media marketing, marketing collateral, package design, art direction, and photography.

My dog's name is Max, named after Mad Max, he's a rescue and easily the coolest pup in the world.
